A small house that does two things with great care: finds natural gemstones worth keeping, and makes the gold that holds them.

The stone comes first

We buy the stone before there is a design, and only stones we would be glad to keep ourselves. The drawing is made around it afterwards, never the other way round.

Gold by hand

18k gold, forged, set and finished at one bench, and hallmarked by an independent Assay Office. We do not cast what can be forged.

Made once

Every piece is drawn for one person and made a single time. Nothing is held as stock, and nothing is repeated.

How we source.

Every stone is natural, reported, and traced as far as the trail allows.

Reported

Each stone carries a report from one of the laboratories the trade recognises, and we quote the report’s own words for origin and treatment. Where a stone merits it, we obtain a second opinion.

Traced

We say how each stone reached us: directly from a mine or its licensed buyer, from a cutter we have worked with for years, or from a private collection. We do not buy from sources we cannot name.

Untouched

Nothing is heated, oiled, re-cut or otherwise altered after it arrives. What the report says is what you receive.

Gold

Our 18k alloys are made from recycled gold refined in Britain, and every piece is hallmarked by an independent Assay Office.

How we make.

One bench sees a piece through: the drawing, the wax, the forging, the setting, the polish. We do not cast what can be forged, and we do not set what has not been drawn first. The workshop is small by intention.
