Terms
Nothing on this site is a contract. A commission becomes one when you approve a drawing and a written quotation, and not before.

This site is not a shop
Nothing here can be bought online. There is no basket, no checkout and no price list. Everything shown is an invitation to enquire, not an offer capable of acceptance, and we take no payment through this site.
Pieces shown under “previously made” are a record of past commissions. They are not stock and are not for sale as shown.
Stones and how they are described
Where a stone carries a laboratory report, we quote that report’s own words for origin and treatment, and we name the laboratory and the report number. We do not paraphrase a report or improve on it.
Photography is taken on a white sweep in daylight and stones are shown enlarged. Colour varies between screens, and no photograph is a substitute for seeing a stone under the loupe. We would always rather show you the stone.
Every stone is offered subject to prior sale. Weights and measurements are as reported. Where a stone has been reserved or sold, we say so.
Commissions
A commission runs in six steps, described on the bespoke page. The first conversation is complimentary and carries no obligation.
A firm written quotation is given with the drawing, before anything is made. Half is taken as a deposit when you approve the drawing, and the balance is due on completion. If you decide not to proceed after seeing the drawing, you owe nothing.
Most commissions take eight to fourteen weeks from an approved drawing. We agree a schedule at the first conversation and tell you promptly if anything threatens it.
Because every piece is made once, for one person, and to measurements you approve, a completed commission is made to your specification. Your statutory rights where something is faulty, not as described, or not of satisfactory quality are unaffected and always apply.
Gold, hallmarking and care
We work in 18k gold. Every piece is hallmarked by an independent Assay Office and struck with the house mark.
Each finished piece is supplied with the laboratory report for its stone, an insurance valuation, and a care note. Cleaning and inspection are for life and without charge, and a first resize is complimentary.
Appointments
Appointments are private and arranged individually, between 9.00 and 18.00. We do not publish an address. We work globally and will meet by video where that is easier.
